EMC:: Offboarding a User (computer wiped)

CLOSING OUT USER ACCOUNTS

Ask user to turn off MFA on their Podio account. 

1. Podio

  1. Log into Podio [https://podio.com/login?force_locale=en_US]
  2. Remove user from apps (leave them in employees)

2. Microsoft: 

  1. Remove devices from device tab
  2. Look in Exchange Admin to see if there are any phone(s) syncing and wipe data
  3. Remove from all Microsoft groups
  4. On the Account Tab, click to Manage contact information
  5. Change display name to xARCHIVE-[NAME]
  6. On mail tab set up access rights and/or forwarding
  7. Remove user from address book
  8. Convert mailbox to shared mailbox
  9. Move to OneDrive and create link to files
  10. Open the EMC Archived Shares > Documents > Protected > User Archives and create a folder with the user's first initial and last name
  11. Use the link to access the files, select them all and move them to the location you just created
  12. Grant people access if needed
  13. If the user is still signed into their computer, force log off in ninjaOne. 


        IF YOU ARE NOT WIPING COMPUTER

       SKIP THE SECTION BELOW


        IF ARE WIPING COMPUTER

  1. Connect with user
  2. Go to System > Recovery
  3. Select Reset PC > Remove All Files
  4. If all goes well, the computer should reboot and you should be disconnected. If not, work with user to simply unjoin from Azure, log in as techie and remove all profiles but techie. Make admin user for person and then have them log in and remove techie account. 
  5. Remove from ninjaOne.


       CLOSE OUT ACCOUNT BY DOING THE FOLLOWING

        n. Sign user out of all sessions

       o. Reset password

       p. Block sign in


3. LastPass

  1. Log in to LastPass as admin
  2. Click on Admin Console
  3. c. Locate User and delete
